      Great company with opportunity for growth

      Pros

      The atmosphere is casual and fun. People work extremely hard but do so while maintaining a sense of humor. There is also a lot of opportunity for advancement, at least in my department. Because we are rapidly changing, there are always opportunities to take on new projects and fix problems you see around even if they're not "part of your job description". If you're interested in something, you're encouraged to get involved with it to really show what you're capable of.

      Cons

      Things are a little chaotic and because of the rapid growth Medidata is still "figuring it out", but they are trying! Communication is sometimes not the best, and some managers should maybe not be managing...

      At Medidata, we work hard & play hard too! With so much to be done in our growing company, we want to make sure to foster an environment with a healthy balance between work & fun. We are in the process of renovating all of our global offices to include amenities such as game rooms, roof top decks, collaboration areas & meditation rooms. We also want to promote team bonding outside of the office so we now sponsor monthly office events to bring our employees together. Whether you’re interested in learning about a new project or team, or you have an idea to get together outside of the office, we encourage all of our employees to speak up and get involved!

      Pros

      You will get paid on time. Thats the only pro that I can think of.

      Cons

      Not much room for growth. No focus on quality of life. No Structure. Theory X management style. (Micromanagers) Finger pointing is the primary focus rather than actually getting the job done.

      Great technology, Poor Management, Worst HR

      Learn new cutting edge software technology. Work with great people, helping support.

      Cons

      Midlevel Management don't understand what makes great software. Don't know appreciate great work. so they can't evaluate. Worst HR ever seen.

      We appreciate hearing all input on current and previous employees experience. We share the sentiment that keeping the bar high for prospective talent is incredibly important. We are growing at an extremely fast pace and are working to ensure that the caliber of talent coming into the organization can handle the scope of work required to grow our Company. We understand that in the short term, the changes are affecting our current employees and we appreciate all of the extra work our current teams are putting in to help the business run. Our end goal is to put into place the correct processes, people & systems to help our organization scale, and we are well on our way!
