      Pros

      I've worked at Medifast for 10+ years and I've seen an incredible transformation during that time. In the last four years, under the leadership of our current CEO, we've completely changed the trajectory of our business. Being a part of a company that's making an impact on so many lives is very meaningful AND the company does a lot to help employees understand the connection between the work they do and our mission in action. Other Pros: Competitive Total Rewards Program Great people - fun atmosphere and culture Strong leaders at every level Opportunities for advancement Beautiful office space

      In the process of working on breaking down previously-built departmental silos within the company. I can see a positive culture shift in the right direction.

      Decent bonuses, some very nice people

      Cons

      No willingness to build things the right way, no architectural vision or support. Motivated developers are allowed to splash around in their own sandbox but don't get the resources they need to make any significant change. Many devs there get by with the minimum amount of work possible. Had one guy who was respected as the leader of our team but just stared at his phone and articles online all day. That guy would do nothing all day but insert himself into conversations with management. Had another guy who fell asleep in meetings. It's just not an environment for motivated developers who want to learn and make things better.
