Pros

It is great to see Leadership taking an active interest in their employees. From day one, everyone has been welcoming, wanting to get to know me, make sure I am successful and actually wanting to know where I see myself in the Company down the road. I received an accolade shortly into my active employment and it was a shock to see a VP sending me a support and thank you message.

Cons

The Consumer Division of the Company has two divisions that unfortunately do not like to share best practices. This to me, inhibits Company growth. It would be nice to see both divisions have open discussion especially in regards to campaigns and promotions.

Sorry, but I worked for Medifast when they were trying to build the brand in S. Florida. The brand never took off... most all the new centers closed... because there was no help with Corporate "Branding" in the S. Florida Market.

Cons

As a Sales Manager you rely on the help from Corporate to help with branding, especially in a new area. Pay is based on a base hourly wage, with promise of high sales volume and a percentage of that. NEVER got to the "sales income" level to ever get a commission. Focus on the customers is not on the weight they are losing, but keeping them in the program, so they will buy the weekly food required for the weight loss.

Pros

There are no pros except for the great people that work for Medifast because they are passionate about helping and caring about people. Upper management, franchise owners and corporate do not care about their employees or customers at all.

Cons

Medifast Corporate was losing money on their Weight Loss Centers so they franchised the centers to random buyers who have no clue about the weight loss industry;
