      - Terrible upper management - Unattainable targets - Strike 50 calls / day policy requirement - HR provides written notices for having cell phone on your desk - Video cameras over desk - Email monitoring - Unpaid breaks - No room for advancement

      Thank you for taking the time to post this review. Although I am sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your time at MEDISCA, we are very grateful for your feedback. As you mentioned, sales can be high pressure and targets can seem unattainable at times. The extensive initial four-week and ongoing training we provide our sales representatives aims to alleviate some of the pressures and provide them with all the resources needed to succeed in this type of role. We do not only pride ourselves in having top performers but also having employees that understand the importance of working together and sharing tips and tricks. Please be assured that the cameras within our facilities are not there to monitor employees but rather ensure that we are providing a safe and secure workplace for our employees. When you were employed with us I do hope you provided feedback to help us in our efforts as we are always looking to evolve and improve. We put a lot of importance on continuous improvement and I do hope that one day we will have the opportunity to work together again and tackle certain challenges to remain the leader in our industry.       Pros

      -parking lot -weekends off for everyone

      Cons

      -short breaks -very long working day -doesn’t even provide plastic forks or spoons or coffee -extremely cheap owner -they seem to hire incompetent people in order to pay them very little -horrible pay -you need to work closely with other departments which is a nightmare; you need to check their work three times -horrible management -no room for growth (one person has been there for about 7 years and was made a supervisor only, how sad) -lots of high school like cliques -job description does not match with what I have been doing -horrible benefits; for single coverage you will be charged $80 a month and don’t even have vision included -most employees seem depressed and overworked

      Thank you for your comments. We are sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your experience or working with other departments. We provide periodic communication training which we will look into providing more often. We always try to promote from within however if there are no higher positions available for a length of time, it can take some time before a promotion can be achieved. We value giving opportunities to young professionals to develop their skills, learn about our business and gain experience which helps them develop their careers.

      Colleagues were good people, smart, and passionate.

      Cons

      Literally everything. More importantly the owner, he’s an old dog that can’t be taught new tricks. Management is a bad joke, salary is beyond ridiculous, do not try to exceed or meet quota because they will enforce tougher quotas to ensure you make $0 (true story). A majority of managers and executives have an education however the moment they speak you start to question if 1)Did these people actually listen in school? Or 2)Did they lie about going to school?
