No job training as they promise at the interview.

Pros

Comfortable working environment. Most people act friendly.

Cons

Little or no job training. Job descriptions do not always match your actual job duties. Unable to transfer to anothe department until 18 months pass. Rules are not the same for all people or all departments. No HR departament so it is difficult to talk to someone about any job related issues or problems. Company seems to favor younger workers ,the average age is 34 years old.

Pros

As a programmer, most of the time you get some exiting tasks, even though its a proprietary language. Good working environment and encouraging staff overall good working experiance

Cons

Technology is still 80 s and really feel that some modules haven't caught up at all, of course the GUI has changed over time but that's basically it. Some seniors can be very self-centered have built a fence around them which makes juniors life difficult.

interesting field/product - healthcare information systems. The challenges/opportunities are always changing, there is never a down day, always busy, but within reason. Great great people to work with - those that hire do a great job! After there for a while, the compensation is very competitive with other similar companies/opportunities.

slow growth, slow opportunity for promotion
