Pros

Ability to collect stock, commission, car allowance, cell allowance, pays monthly gym membership, young industry, trip incentives for sales people

Cons

Management needs work. CEO is great but management under him could use some management training and learn how to deal with people. The commission is so low as well as the base salary. Goals are almost unattainable in order to get a bump in base salary or a bump in the commission structure. Some managers set unrealistic goals, not out of harshness but out of being too optimistic, possibly. Turnover rate is significant in most offices but honestly the entire industry is like that.

Thanks for your review. We recently revisited our pay and commission structure to keep it very competitive within the industry. We have also bolstered our commitment to management training, but we have passed on your feedback to the appropriate leaders to address your concerns.

Pros

You get a quick crash course in talent acquisition. You leave Medix with a high sense of urgency that translates very well in other jobs.

Cons

They hire mostly college grads, so they are able to pay very little. In addition to the low compensation, they expect you to work insanely long hours. The role is not for the light hearted, it's a tough job!

Thanks for your review. You're right; working within the staffing industry is tough and sometimes requires extra hours in the office. But the extra hours and hard work means you're creating opportunity and finding the right jobs for people. As for compensation, we're continually examining our pay structure to ensure it's competitive within the industry. I passed your review on to our leadership team.

Pros

I learned a ton while working a Medix. They have an excellent training program and will teach you the best way to manage your time in the fast-paced recruiting world. The people that work there are great, down to earth, and hard-workers.

Cons

You were required to be in the office at 7:30 and couldn't leave until 6:00pm - very difficult to maintain a work life balance.

Thank you for your review! We're glad to hear you enjoyed your experience with Medix; we love our teammates, too! We strive to always evolve, but the staffing industry is demanding and requires some extra time in the office. On the flip side, staffing is incredibly rewarding, because you can create opportunity, put people to work and positively impact lives. We shared your advice with our leadership team.
