Pros

I learned a ton while working a Medix. They have an excellent training program and will teach you the best way to manage your time in the fast-paced recruiting world. The people that work there are great, down to earth, and hard-workers.

Cons

You were required to be in the office at 7:30 and couldn't leave until 6:00pm - very difficult to maintain a work life balance.

Thank you for your review! We're glad to hear you enjoyed your experience with Medix; we love our teammates, too! We strive to always evolve, but the staffing industry is demanding and requires some extra time in the office. On the flip side, staffing is incredibly rewarding, because you can create opportunity, put people to work and positively impact lives. We shared your advice with our leadership team.

RUN AWAY COLLEGE GRADS

Pros

free snacks and hour break

Cons

Listen, whether you are a new grad, OR a parent of a new grad just researching. ( I totally understand adults make their own choices). But, this place is BAD NEWS. For starters, they will encourage you to move to a new city, and shout " OMG can't wait for you to be here! We will show you everything" .. then they lay you off without warning, and during training at that. Imagine one day you are trying your best to learn the material then BOOM, you are fired. To continue, take a look and ask questions of the company. Almost every employee has been with the company for less than a 6 months! They fire RELENTLESSLY! They claim they will teach you the ropes as a "new grad" and continue to get rid of people. The AMS are the only people who have been for a year at MOST.. On the topic ofAMS, unless you like to be micromanaged every day- this job is NOT FOR YOU. There will be countless role-play meetings over and over, even if you just had the same meeting? Guess what, your AM will tell you to do another. Oh, and the commission structure sucks. They make it seem like you will make a lot. You make 1% of anything, while your AMS and managers make the rest. 1 percent is about an additional $16 a month! Something else to consider is that they will not pay you during your training the exact hours. You are on hourly, and you can only clock in 40 hours, even tho you are expected to be in the office 45-50 hours. If you ask, they WILL say no. How is this legal??? The best part is the hour lunch where your AM is not hovering behind your "desk" and the free snacks. This place is not worth it. Take it or leave it before they swallow you whole and spit you out.

Pros

None. If an internal recruiter reaches out… run.

Cons

They are lying about layoffs and calling them anything but that. Field level leadership is lying to field team about everything being okay then laying off people week after week. They also like to play the game of telephone and fire people based on what they heard. Seems like all management knows how to do is lie and fire people. I suggest running far far away if you are looking for a new job. Medix is very clearly a sinking ship with terrible leadership.
