Pros

None - Training is sporadic and all over the place. Never really teach you what you need to know in the field. Division Manager is worthless, old school and thinks he is all known and doesnt realize all his reps cant stand him. Tons of pressure to hit numbers, no car allowance and work till midnight.

Cons

Ding paycheck for everything. Tell you can make 6 figures and wont make 60K. Loosing ground to McKesson and Cardinal everyday. Get ready to work 16 hour days just to make ends meet.

A Company with Poor Products, Non-Existent Ethics and Bad Management

Pros

None. This company was aspirational and seeking to be one of the larger supplier of healthcare supplies but, in the end, it's all about how much they can sell regardless of quality. As such, Medline is a low-cost supplier of generic goods that are of suspect quality.

Cons

Horrible management, poor or non-existent business best-practices. Nepotism rampant in the company. Greed dominates decision-making. Simply amazed that the company hasn't been investigated or charged with Medicare/Medicaid fraud over the years.

Pros

The food on site in subsided. Sadly this is the only thing I can come up with after working here nearly 5 years. After applying elsewhere when looking for my exit I was genuinely shocked of offers exceeding 15% of my current salary at the time, better 401K matching, and perks at work.

Cons

Management - Abysmal is the best way to put it. An absolute cesspool and echo chamber for lack of better words. If they don't like you, they will make your life living heck. Sourcing - China is the answer to everything to save money. Yes, the product is assembled in the USA (mostly by operators with GEDs & High School diplomas at best). Not sure I would trust their product in my body or operating room. Here we are midway through 2023 and they still mandate the COVID vaccine(s). Again, if you have a personal opinion or strong beliefs elsewhere, you will be ousted, or your job made miserable. If you're capable of puckering up your lips to suck up and sell out on beliefs you'll be OK. If your idea of fair and competitive wage is an ice cream come or food truck stopping by and Medline paying $5-10 for your meal every 4-6 months, great place to work. If you expect 3-5% increase to keep up with cost of living, look elsewhere.
