Pros

Good flex time and PTO policies and decent benefits. All employees start with 3 weeks of vacation, which they can start using right away. Free drinks and breakroom supplies.

Cons

Communication from senior management downward is nearly nonexistent. Employees rely on the rumor mill to find out what is going on, when bonuses are coming, etc. Many young managers with no innate leadership ability or previous experience and no training to learn how to supervise people.

Pros

Medpace is a strong company in excellent financial health. Benefits and wellness promotion for employees are solid. Vacation and sick day policy are ample. The other employees are a young, fun crowd who know how to work hard and still have a good time. The work is intellectually stimulating and can teach you a lot about the other functional areas in this contract research organization (CRO).

Cons

Peak work volume can be extreme. You may be expected to work weekends with only 1-2 days of notice. If you want the weekend days off, you may have to request them. There is training, but it does not cover the things you really need to know. New employees must feel around in the dark for too long before becoming integrated and effective.
