Pros

There are none unless you’re in upper management

Cons

The managers are rude and inconsiderate and HR does not let you know everything you need to know up front. The work life balance sucks working full time you will not have a life unless you are in upper management because they take off when they feel like it. This job is not worth the headache or the pay, and the raises are slim to none.

Pros

In my time an Melaleuca I've had multiple opportunities to grow into a new responsibility. Melaleuca right now is growing exponentially, so if you're looking for an opportunity to grow and influence this is a good place to be. It's also a good place to be if you like to stretch and grow in your skillset and career. Employees are often asked to take on projects in new technologies or business processes both domestically and internationally. There is a culture of caring at Melaleuca that is readily apparent when participating in the many activities for Employees and events sponsored or co-sponsored by Melaleuca. It's often that you hear of team members pulling together to help one of our own or a member of the community. I feel like Melaleuca truly centers a great many of its efforts in taking care of its employees and its customers. In my mind, while the bottom line is important at Melaleuca, but it is secondary to the well being of Melaleuca Customers, Employees, and the communities in which it operates. I'm a bit of a short timer here at Melaleuca, especially compared to some 30 year veterans, but I've bought into their message of wellness and their culture of caring. I'm in Melaleuca!

Cons

Melaleuca can be demanding when it comes to projects with short deadlines and or projects that may require your specific skillset. Because we serve customers who rely on us to live, there can be customer facing issues or projects that require some dedication to get them done and out the door quickly. Melaleuca is always centered on its customers, this can sometimes lead to a very cautious approach to change, especially where customer facing processes are concerned. This can sometimes be misconstrued as an unwillingness to change, when it is more accurately a deliberate approach to it.
