Pros

Melaleuca has provided me with valuable opportunities for growth and has been an amazing employer throughout my career here. The compensation is well above the state average and the benefits go above and beyond what you would find with a large employer. It’s a fantastic team to work for.

Cons

I can’t think of any cons, but we always want to check in with potential candidates to see if snow is a factor with those who are used to more temperate conditions!

Pros

I have worked for Melaleuca for about 4 years now coming from a large manufacturing company. Here are the things I love about Melaleuca. There are lots great people with diverse backgrounds. We have a good mix of those who have been here their whole careers and those of us that have come from other public and private companies. This brings a great depth of experience and many great ways to look at the business. I’m a finance guy and I love to help the company save money or make more money. There are lots of opportunities to step up and make a difference financially to the company. Since the company is growing, there are many opportunities to help drive beneficial change. Many of the folks that work for me have found a multiplicity of ways to make our processes and procedures more efficient for them and for others. Melaleuca is a private company so while we still have auditors to make sure we are doing things correctly we don’t have any pressure that comes from external financial reporting. Because the business is smaller, but growing I can both get my hands around what is going on but still there is growth so I can see a day when we will become much more complex. Finally work life balance is a huge plus at Melaleuca. I love that when I'm at work I focus on work but when I'm not I get to be with my family. Rarely do I have to mix the two. In addition Melaleuca has many perks like a summer picnic that I can bring my family too.

Cons

With growth comes challenges. Melaleuca does struggle, as many companies do, as they transition from a small company mindset to a large company mindset. This is changing but more change will be needed. Growth is a great problem to have but it also comes with its own challenges.
