      The work is very rewarding. I loved getting to be part of so many succesful patient experiences. It is also very helpful to be part of such a large healthcare system . . . it means there are many diverse job opportunities available.

      Cons

      The hours and physicians can be very demanding.

      Stability, Easy Workload, Pension Plan, Day 1 Benefits

      Cons

      Leadership has been there for way too long. Limited upward mobility. No bonuses or significant pay increases, but you have to remember they're a non-profit.

      Opportunity for advancement, and room to move because they are all over Houston

      Cons

      Politics, They are supposedly Magnet but nurse to pt. ratio is awful with 7:1 on Tele in some of their hospitals. with the pt. turnaround being fast you can end up with 9-10 pt.'s a day.
