Pros

Great employees and team work is what makes this hospital great. The hospital is nursing driven, and builds nurses to become highly skilled individuals.

Cons

The hospital has been going through a lot of changes, which may push employees to having to work differently and be more engaged. Not everyone can be so adaptive.

Pros

Decent pay, great hours, friendly co-workers (some), company reputation among the community.

Cons

Too much gossip among management and unprofessional "harassing" management skills. They basically sabotage employees growth and development giving them poor performance reviews preventing individual growth and development and chances for promotion. There is a sorority-like environment where you are "in" one week and "out" the next. Too much like high school! There has even been instances of borderline racism

Pros

I have a job, and benefits, which I definitely need.

Cons

Favoritism; some employees take very long lunches and breaks, supervisor and team lead are aware; employees clock in then go back to lunch room. Was happening for years, and finally beginning to get a handle on it. Why are these employees still here? I don't get it. No cell phone policy, however supervisor and team lead allow certain people to be on their cell phones. Seems you need to be in the clique. Understaffed, and management quickly points out mistakes, however, if you've done something extraordinary, they say "it's in your job description." Too many flex days to eat up PTO, that is, if you want to be paid for your flex day.
