Need to do many overtime, repetitive non-engineering/physical work, or commercial level work while site needs to be covered. Some management decisions are more theoretical than practical and needs SE to spend more non-billable time to finish before deadline. Income does not compensate the time and effort. Most importantly a junior people can have not much benefit from this job in terms of personal/engineering upskilling, as you need to be an engineer, an surveyor, an labour, an manager at the same time, especially people got visa sponsorship. If you are in management level it is a good company.
