salary is low and not much room for growth.

Very underpaid and short staffed. New employees dont last for more than 6 months. I can list a whole bunch of cons...but those stick out the most. The job is also very burnout inducing and lack of support. The pay can be way better and should not be on call 24/7. Do not make enough. Should have OT options as well. I understand that it is DSS contracted, but they really need to pay more. $20 an hour is not enough.
