I enjoyed this position very much. Working with the adolescent clients was very rewarding, and my coworkers were a team.

Cons

Some of the clients could become violent and I was injured 4 to 5 times during my 2 and a half years working there.

There is a lot of freedom to get out of the house. Company likes staff to be out (not so much when it's colder) Go to the mall, the park. Pretty much anywhere if it's legal. The company recommends you don't take them home but staff take them home. Can be easy depending on the house you get, the client's and the supervisor. Money is passable could be more and OT is available if you know the right people.

Cons

Lack of communication between staff and other staff as well as staff and upper management. Lack of direction and management. Supervisors are very hands off unless they need you. << that's a pro and a con. There can be a lot of tension between staff. A lot of talking behind the back, rumors and just high school type behavior. Tons of misconduct and long time employees tend to get special treatment. Favoritism. Client abuse. Redundant documentation.
