      Under the LifeSciences leadership we have been given freedom to experiment, innovate, and move our technology forward into the modern era. The experience and skill within our group was well-leveraged, enabling us to in-source many functional areas and free ourselves from costly, ineffective ELAs, and made our work environment satisfying and fulfilling. We have created an award-winning and very successful eBusiness platform which we can be proud of.

      Cons

      Our company has fallen off the bandwagon in terms of benefits and compensation, and it is frustrating not being able to retain good talent. Merck KGaA aims to compensate for this deficit with professional opportunities, something it can do with only mixed success without becoming a top-heavy organization. Benefit packages have also been a weak point, particularly medical.
