Pros

Good salary, access to cutting edge technologies, smart and dedicated coworkers. Clean, well equipped labs. Interesting projects with a clear mission.

Cons

Bureaucracy is stifling. I sometimes feel as if the company is actively trying to work against me in accomplishing my goals. You'll hit a glass ceiling on the research track quickly without a PhD. Limited opportunities to advance despite management's lip service to the contrary.
