In terms of material conditions (wages, benefits, work environment), Mercury takes excellent care of its workforce.

Cons

Leadership has placed the emphasis on growth and planning for scaling over the last few years; they've been working on putting in place a corporate organization to support higher-order programs. The good news is: it worked. The bad news is: maybe a little too well. The "production capability" has not grown proportionally to the "opportunity-generation machine". The structure of the company may have grown a little too top-heavy. People executing on the captured opportunities are overloaded and under tremendous of pressure to get a lot done with constrained means, supporting 'overhead' costs that can feel punitive.
