Pros

The organization tries to do the right thing for their employees.

Cons

Poor leadership. Overworked, understaffed, and underpaid especially in the Emergency settings hospital and pre-hospital. Preach just culture but no one holds leaders accountable. Preach “right fit” but seem to hire warm bodies to fill positions (especially leadership positions) which in turn creates further turnover.

Pros

Larger Company, salaries are ok, they do allow some work from home

Cons

Horrible management infrastructure, was part of an acquired hospital, was put in a position that more than encouraged me to leave. Work from home policy is not consistent between managers, some managers show favor to some of the team, allowing WFH 100%

Pros

Decent benefits, great PTO earning hours every paycheck. The environment is all dependent on the manager. I’ve had great experiences and wonderful managers, but I have heard many others who aren’t as lucky.

Cons

Raises are not very good. The highest yearly raise is 2.5%. Being promoted within doesn’t always promise a good raise increase. It can take a very very long time to even come close to the maximum for your position. It would be nice if raises were better or if incentives were set in place for those who exceed the standard.
