Thank you for sharing your feedback. While layoffs aren't nearly as frequent as you have mentioned, we appreciate you taking the time to voice your concerns. As a non-profit ministry following the path of the Sisters of Mercy, we strive to create equal opportunities for all co-workers and remain competitive with our bonus structure and benefit packages. After doing an extensive evaluation of our packages in comparison to other employers in the area, as well as our industry, we find that our bonus structure and benefits are fair. If you would like to discuss your benefits package or our bonus structure further, please email mercyrecruitmentfeed@mercy.net. Again, thank you for taking the time to write a review!

Pros

- They pay us so little, that I don’t feel bad putting in little to no effort doing my job. - I can do my 8 hours and walk away. - The good Coworkers are continuously quitting to go somewhere that actually pays a decent wage, so I get to meet new people. The bad ones stay because they know they can scrape by doing the bare minimum. - Once you get hired, as long as you clock in on time you can just go back to your car and sleep on night shift. They can’t fire anyone because they’re continuously understaffed.

Cons

- Management is ineffective and useless. They could care less about the problems in the workplace and who’s not doing their job. - You get what you pay for and from what I’ve seen I’d be scared to get anything other than a physical here. - You’re continuously hassled about doing 20% more with 20% less. Basically just continue to keep piling on more work even if you’re just half-assing everything. - They say that they do wage comparisons and that their pay is “fair,” but If that’s the case why is it that in my department alone 20 people have quit over the past year to go to another hospital who’s offering them 3-5$ more an hour? It makes it impossible to build a strong team and just makes everyone lose hope of ever actually being able to provide good patient care. - I contacted HR about 3 bullying incidents and was continuously put through to voicemail and never got a call back. Even after giving my 2 weeks and scheduling an exit interview, I was never contacted. You guys could care less about losing quality employees.
