Miss the Sisters running Mercy

Pros

Good doctors, most coworkers are helpful and service oriented.

Cons

Upper management does not seem to care about their current workers. I worked there before the sisters left and it was a different company. I know many people within Mercy and they are good people who work hard to give the patients comfort, compassion and service. Corporate does not seem to care or have the personal touch the sisters did. This company has changed for the worst for their employees.

Pros

There is not an Pros that can be listed

Cons

Mercy takes about the Ministry and the mission but they absolutely don't practice what they preach. The don't care about there employee, they don't support them and want expect you to accomplish you job without proper tools and help. Management is horrible and will gladly throw you under the bus to keep themselves looking good. They say its not about the money to the worker but in Management meeting is all about the money. Its is the most hypocritical place I have ever worked. If you like being unappreciated, under paid and abused by management then this is the place for you.

Low Pay Money Drives Everything Work Illegally off the Clock

Pros

They hire new, inexperienced nurses. The food is marginally good. If you are a doctor they will cover up your mistakes.

Cons

Understaffing, low pay, high turnover. They only care about the bottom line and not people. It is a lie that religion is driving this hospital. It was sold to a corporation and even Sisters of Mercy nuns say the hospital has lost its mission. Management Does not encourage critical thinking.
