      Pros

      fast paced- lots of energy- leadership is committed to developing and growing their employees. Benefits are pretty good. We build a great product, and have very talented employees that care and want the best for Meritage.

      Cons

      I wish the 401K match was higher; sometimes we move too fast and it causes unnecessary stress on everyone. Also, sometimes we make things too hard (we create too much process) and it hinders being able to complete tasks on time.

      Pros

      I have been here 3 1/2 years, great co-workers and supervisors. They encourage work/life balance. They recognize work well done and promote from within the Company. Not once have I dreaded the morning of the work week. I have recommended friends and family to my Company.

      Cons

      We are still a small division and I am looking forward to growth and development opportunities as we expand in the area.

      Pros

      Meritage Homes has lead the industry in energy efficiency and builds the best home in the industry. This is due to an innovative educated team that has the same common goal in mind. I look forward to the continued growth of this team and the positive culture it has created.

      Cons

      Due to our national footprint there are many miles between us, it would be great to get together more often by discipline.
