Pros

Relaxed work environment, great co-workers, slow pace, almost no pressure to meet deadlines or adhere to any specific policies, especially as a temp. I directed almost all of my own work and made my own schedule.

Cons

Budget crisis means you will never see a promotion or a raise. People who got hired after you with less experience will be making 2-5 dollars more than you and you can't argue for a pay increase based on experience.

Mesa Community College really worked with my schedule since I was also a Full-Time student there. They provided me so much support with work and school, and I was able to meet a lot of great collegues.
