Bad bad management

Pros

Flexibility - because management do not care how many hours you put in or where you are when you work there is currently work from home flexibility.

Cons

Management have no regard for employees. They talk a good story but in reality they have absolutely no regard for them. You can work all through the night and never ever get a thank you or any acknowledgement of achievements. Senior management have no idea and no interest in what happens at the lower levels of the company.

Solid company; Good place to start your career

Pros

Provides its associates with a great work/life balance, good benefits, and a friendly work environment. It is a large company, so there are many opportunities to move into.

Cons

Upper management is weak and does not care to develop its employees. Some people linger in their jobs because they have held it for so many years. Incompetence is ignored at a certain level with work just re-allocated to those that are more competent, allowing some people to unfairly get paid for doing little to no work. The company is also very interested in their bottom line, leading to a lot of offshoring, instability, and constant restructuring within the organization.
