good salary on average great benefits with PTOs and holiday pay.

Cons

not that much overtime offered paycheck every two weeks. after my lay off I was told I couldn't use my PTOs or get paid for it.

Pros

The lead guys in the shop are very willing to help out. Engineering can be a hassle to deal with.

Cons

Don't get into the weeds or the political side of Metal Shark. Just when you think you have a friend in higher places, they stab you in the back. just keep your head down and work. No matter how many hours you are having to work. They are supposed to be family oriented but 60 hours a week or more for 6 months straight or longer. They could care less if you have time to spend with your family. It's about getting their boats and contracts completed.
