      Goof office environment Friendly people working here

      Cons

      Executive level management do not have a good grasp on what it takes to keep employees happy and are not willing to get help. I would not recommend anyone who looks for career advancement to work here.

      - Innovative and fun projects to work on. They have the traditional government projects but are able to put a innovative spins on them with mobile and social media implementations. - Creative, forward thinking and collaborative workforce - Cutting Edge in both Microsoft and Open Source based technologies - Flexible hours, Fun Office Parties - Company will challenge you, but reward you

      - Company is going through growing pains - Be prepared for longer than 8 hour days - Some people do not fit within the culture

      Pros

      If I would have described the best reasons to be at MSS in the beginning the list would have been long. Now that I know better the one good thing I could say is I was paid on time.

      Cons

      No support from upper management, no cell phone reimbursement yet you were expected to use yours, no mileage reimbursement, CEO that goes on rants, expectations not expressed by upper management until you don't live up to them, resources removed from projects at the whim of upper management, no work live balance yet that is their claim, no respect of your knowledge and the reason they said they hired you for, very "frat boy" mentality, and lack of experience by upper management.
