Pros

Overpaid for what we do. Great benefits and job security. From the looks of it a lot of potential for promotion. Free bus and subway rides and sometimes free LIRR rides depending on the conductor. Overtime available often.

Cons

No efficiency in many aspects. Job redundancy. The culture is terrible. Workers think they are owed more, too many old timers staying on longer than they should. Hard to make changes. Antiquated systems. Senior workers think they don't have to work because they put in their time. Too much nepotism. LIRR rides should be free as well same parent company.

Cons

Staff have no incentive to think outside of the box. You have to punch in and punch out whenever you come into the office, take a lunch break, and leave the office. People will literally stand by the punch clock WAITING for the clock to say 5pm. Seriously? This is how you want to spend your life? The cubicle environment was very much like the moving Office Space. Life depleting, like I said.
