      Pros

      The MTA is good for those seeking job security, exposure to government organizations and to the field of transportation, access to very large projects and initiatives.

      Cons

      Old boy's network, bloated bureaucracy, lack of accountability, very difficult to initiate change or creative problem solving. Too many employees - at all levels counting the days until they get to retire.
