      Great academics and work study. The campus is beautiful and the job opportunities are plentiful

      The people here are so snoddy and entitled. The oxford bubble exists, and it isn't pretty

      Pros

      Competent and compassionate coworkers and management. The work days generally seem to go by easily.

      Cons

      As a state university, there is a significant bureaucracy to deal with on a never ending basis.

      Pros

      The benefits at Miami University are amazing. Free access to an employee only fitness center (different than the rec sports center), access to a free health clinic, fantastic dental and medical insurance and a tuition fee waiver that applies even to graduate level courses.

      Cons

      Your salary will lag behind the industry average. It is frustratingly difficult to make change occur. Higher education politics are sometimes vicious.
