      Pros

      It's a nice place to start, In other retail environments i didn't even feel like it was possible to move. In micro center it's an expanding business and moving around the store or through stores if need be is possible. It's not just about selling the most expensive stuff, It's about getting the customer what they need and if they don't want it then your not going to have your hours cut to nothing cause of it.

      Cons

      Passing the buck or favorites are played in multiple stores, If this was fixed it'd be a much better place. It's commission on the floor and certain people are fighter jets over it. Current Scheduling system is eh.

      Most people you work with.

      Cons

      Managers that do not respect you and treat you like dirt for the most part. Constantly being hassled to get customers information despite them not wanting to give it to you. Understaffed, but would never hire anyone to help with that. Part-time workers were forced to work 40+ hrs every week and I mean every week, but get none of the perks of full-time.

      Pros

      Good place to get your feet wet with real experience as a computer service technician before moving into a career. Good co-workers.

      Cons

      Outdated information systems. Very unstructured. No universal protocols or guidelines for ANYTHING (administrative procedures, forms for customers to fill out, forms and reference material for employees, etc)
