      Worst Place that I have ever had the misfortune to work at

      Pros

      Can't really find one ...even with a 10,000X magnifying lens

      Cons

      Very closed door culture, managers who are extremely unprofessional and rude, no systems in place, mass exits happening - no layoffs, voluntary, best performing people are leaving the company, no career growth options

      Stay away! Company of constant acquisitions

      Pros

      Great compensation! The benefits package is also very good.

      Cons

      They are constantly acquiring other companies (eight in just over 2 years). Acquisitions = layoffs. They made empty promises about consolidating financial systems. Merit increases did not happen at all during my tenure there (almost three years). Bonuses have also been minimal. They recently consolidated spaces into cubicles only to close down half the building for tax reasons.

      1. July/Aug 2017 - Record profits announced 2. July/August 2017 - Bonus slashed by 60% to thousands of employees 3. Sep 2017 - HPE Merger Completes 4. Sep 2017 - Stephen Murdoch tours office 5. Sep 2017 - Soon After tour and facing employees, news of 300 million pound executive "Bonanza" announced. Appears CEO did not want to face employees with that impending news. 6.Dec 2017 - Trump tax cuts are passed 7. Jan 9 2018 - $700 million tax benefit received by Micro Focus turns up in article, CFO mentioned that to investors 8. Jan 15 2018 - Announced Thousands of employees receive $0 bonus I will say that I really enjoy my coworkers. There is a decent work-life balance, however, at the end of the day you need to have the financial stuff taken care. Hence, all categories get 1 star.

      Cons

      This has been hard for employees families. Mission statement that CEO wants everyone to know mentions nothing about employees.
