after MF bought HP, everything good about HP was stripped away

-my co workers from HP - work from home

Cons

- pompous CEO - renewals make the most revenue but is constantly treated as the red headed step child of the business - no opportunity to move up - they removed bonuses and accelerators, basically all incentive to sell was removed -poor tools that inhibit you completing your jobs -extreme penalties for customers. almost every customer was audited and due to this, they dropped product and reinvested at other companies.

There is is little drive to be innovative. The software acquired from HPe is falling in the Magic Quadrant, as the Corporate overlords in the UK just want to milk a cash cow, not grow a better cow.

Pros

Loyal people who still remain. Good products but complex and hard to sell in this market. Mid level leaders try very hard. Great people at the individual contributor level. Good salaries. Customer success and support has been improving a lot.

Cons

Questionable executive management based on the last several years of failures and challenges. Too many reductions and changes causing sales teams to be mediocre. Rarely meeting quotas due to various challenges. Lots of constant change and everyone expects layoffs every year. IT systems, CRM, etc. have been a disaster since the HPE merger.
