Pros

I love the people and the overall culture. Is it perfect? Not by a long shot. Do I believe the companybtries very hard to do THE right think it get as close as pragmatically possible? Yes. I see this attitude all the way from how the company deals with shareholders to employees.

Cons

I think they are in some ways confused about what they want to be when they grow up. There is confusion with attempting to mix growth products under legacy brands, and lack the commitment to investing properly in rehabiliting the brand.

Pros

Management is very capable, savvy, and refreshingly human. Chairman and CEO in particular are very down to earth and personable - and truly listen. They tell it like it is - very open and transparent. They invest in the right places (which may not always be popular if your projects don't get funded - but that is a reality of our business) and don't frivolously spend money on stupid things and tell revenue-generating departments to cut - unlike other places I have worked. The flexibility and trust of management is refreshing. Just do a great job, do the right thing, and move the company forward. Employees feel valued and heard. I am excited and proud to work here.

Cons

Sometimes it appears to operate in a Newbury vacuum with decisions made at HQ without appropriate input from the rest of the company and little communication of decisions once they are made. Probably a function of the company being so geographically diverse from many layers of acquisitions and starting as a much smaller company. Sometimes is can get lonely when your only human interaction is on the phone.
