Pros

In theory, Micro Focus supports its employees. It has in place employee assistance, non-managerial promotion for engineers, adjustable pension deals, you name it.

Cons

In practice, this is a company which wastes its employees' time and gets rid of them almost on a whim. They can waste people's lives. The company wastes its own time too. Cliquish and stupid. So the apparent advantages are often theoretical. If I had my life again, this would be somewhere I would not go.

Pros

Salary & Benefits good. That's it..

Cons

No job security, not stability and no direction.. Constantly changing management and direction of business. Each start of fiscal year half the staff will be dismissed, sales will be going in a new direction and ill thought out plans will be put in place as a knee jerk reaction to bad sales the previous year, and the same will happen next fiscal year ultimate ground-hog day. It's all about who you know rather than what you know...

No Support

Pros

Some good people with real hope of helping customers.

Cons

Work is extremely challenging, No real help from senior staff. No formal training of products which changes often. No real experienced supervision, supervisors are non-experienced but liked by upper management to do micro management of subordinates.Sales rules and they give customers bad information on products but are rarely disciplined by management, The first line of defense are poorly untrained support personnel .
