Pros

Some genuinely good people, who have the company's best interests at heart. Some impressive technology that can evolve to challenge the much larger software giants.

Cons

The decision to simultaneously acquire Borland and Compuware was too bold. Clash of cultures and technology was not adequately factored into the process. The office is bereft of character, and is more like a morgue than a place of work. Staff wish they were some place else...

Pros

If you are a result oriented person and do not mind being treated as a money-producing machine, that is your job. This company is result orienting, and this it a very good reason to work for it. It is also a very competitive environment, as long as there is no recession and no need to sack employees. they pay employees an almost good salary, even though the time they spend to sack people when they do not need them anymore is close to zero. It is a continuously moving environment, which makes working very interesting and stimulating at the same time.

Cons

You are not considered as a person but just a mere way of producing money. Once they do not need you, or think they do not need you anymore, they just get rid of you, no matter how long you worked for them, no matter your current situation and your capabilities. Those decisions are taken just looking at indexes and not considering the personal record of the employee they are sacking. Career improvement are just a dream. Human resources division is not up to what employee expect of it. Junior and Senior management people are too money oriented thus ignoring employee needs and feedback.
