Pros
Potential for working from home full-time; casual work environment (even shorts and sandals!) in U.S. office with perks such as free vending machines and ping-pong table 24/7. Knowledgeable, pleasant co-workers, challenging tasks, good products.
Cons
Lack of structure for newbies; I was hired for a particular skill but lacked the experience in the primary task necessary for the position and was dumped in the deep end without direct support. Training was provided in MF products but not the basic skills needed to successfully handle the requirements of the position. Inconsistent support structure meant some managers provided direct mentors while others did not. Product documentation was unconscionably out-of-date and poorly written making problem-solving difficult.
