      Pros

      Microchip generally treated the employees better than other companies I worked for. For example, during Covid, they did not reduce headcount. They reduced salaries temporarily, and when business picked back up, everyone was comp'ed for the salary they lost during the slowdown.

      Cons

      The company struggles with new technology innovation. Management seems more concerned about "milking" (their word) IP than generating new IP.

      They really value their employees and customers. As one of their core values, People are their greatest strength. That's why they invest on trainings for their employees.

      Cons

      If you are in the IT industry, your job title will be different on what you actually do. Salary is low compare to other companies
