      Pros

      Microchip is a great place to work. I love it and plan to retire in this job. The pay is not as high as I could get in other places but the culture and job security more than compensates for the lower pay.

      Cons

      None really. I don't have any complaints. I will type a bunch of words though so that I reach the twenty word minimum.

      Pros

      Microchip is an outstanding place to work. In this day and age it's uncommon to find a company like this that puts it's core values in the forefront.

      Cons

      The 401k matching is pretty low below industry standards.

      Microchip has been outperforming many of its competitors through its unique business model in a matured industry. This makes Microchip a good company to work for in terms of stability. - Work life balance is terrific with flexible hours - Everyone in the company is very friendly and willing to work with each other - CEO is transparent about how the company is doing and the direction we are going - Microchip likes promoting from within and offers training for growth - Benefits are good overall - Microchip shares it's profits through quarterly bonuses that all employees are eligible for

      Cons

      - 401k match could be better - Not a good fit for job seekers looking for more money
