Formerly Atmel and still operates like Atmel. Management is the same so they operate the same way. Operators are treated more as a number than as an individual. Not much personal freedom and very micromanaged. Management clearly is biased and displays favoritism to advance people they like rather than people who are qualified. Many long time employees who wish to advance are being held back because of this and morale is greatly suffering from working for supervisors and fab managers who do not respect them or seem to have their future career interests in mind. Operators are being threatened with write ups if they have a "bad attitude" instead of management trying to figure out why morale is so low.

Pay is lacking, new employees get treated as scapegoats by older employees leading to them walking out/quitting (been there 3 months and every week a new person quits or walks out). Negative attitude atmosphere. 50. cent raise every 3 years. Long days off but you sleep them away for the most part leading to essentially the same as a non-compressed shift. days you work you literally sleep then go to work- not much wind down time after work. Wearing a hot and itchy smock for 10 hours. Supervisors want you to find your own work coverage even 3 months in advance.
