Pros

Excellent benefits package, 401(k) match, friendly work environment, diverse employees and job opportunities, professional development highly encouraged, stable industry, excellent opportunities for college students and recent grads

Cons

Pay could be better, but hard to complain given above-average benefits, promotions/pay increases are hard to come by so be sure you're satisfied with starting pay.

Pros

It is owned by Berkshire Hathaway. You will always have a job.

Cons

No monetary participation in growth of company. There is no direct link between value created and bonus. Always working shorthanded. The phrase "work you like a rented mule" is very apt. The company will force you to move from the lowcost midwest to a job on the coast without a cost of living adjustment.
