Pros

Just got raises across the board to be more competitive and up to compensation par with others in the mortgage industry.

Cons

Chaos. Disorganization. Throwing things together at the very last minute. Managers who don't know anything about your job and can't give you tips on how to improve. You are pretty much on your own while they lollygag in the head managers office and talk about what they want for Christmas. Training is subpar. Some of us were also told that they were just hiring bodies (not quality) because they were just going to let them go anyway.

Pros

okay benefits, private owned. Small bank with national bank problems

Cons

outdated technology and procedures, culture not focused on development, power for all decision making is in Oklahoma (headquarters) - very difficult to hire. Pay is well below market standard. Slow and not willing to adapt to change.

Pros

Most people are quite professional and courteous to their peers. Sometimes you get free tickets to Thunder games.

Cons

Some upper management does not really know what all is going on their department. They only got the job they have today because they have been with the bank for so long, and not because they actually have expertise in that area. You don't get to wear jeans on Fridays or have many casual dress code days. Not much room for advancement at all, even though they tell you that during training.
