Was hoping this was the dream remote job

Pros

Remote work is the only pro

Cons

Was hoping I had finally found my dream remote job- quickly learned the model is unsustainable. Expecting providers to see patients every 15 minutes, unrealistic mandatory charting expectations, and the patients believing they are seeing Mary Claire Haver and then disappointed they are not. Wages less than an RN for my state. Was being asked to do things that I was not comfortable with as a provider- rxing psych meds with no formal psych evaluation, weight management after an inadequate training course, and very liberal guidelines in rxing hormones. Felt my license was at risk if I continued to work there.

Pros

I love working here. The senior leadership team is smart and engaged, and all decisions feel strategic and worthwhile. The growth has been crazy and it’s so exciting to work somewhere where you can see the impact of what you do in the care delivered to women who need it. There’s always an exciting new project to work on and the clear direction from leadership makes it easy to align initiatives with company goals to really drive impact. The culture is unmatched and the all hands meetings are so impactful - you can really feel the dedication and passion of the team and how much of a difference we are making in women’s lives. I love working here!

Cons

Midi isn’t kidding when they say they move fast - there is a ton of growth happening at all times and, because of that, you have to be adaptable and willing to shift gears as needed. The team is very smart and expects people to contribute, but that being said there is a ton of flexibility in terms of schedule and great work/life balance.
