Poor Leadership & Poorer Culture

Recommend

Business Outlook

Pros

The benefits are okay - with medical benefits being slightly above market.

Cons

The president of the company has next to no emotional intelligence and all he cares for is stock price. No surprise then that the company has a toxic culture of 'yes-men'. They underpay and expect employees to follow a bureaucratic procedure driven work-culture. Still stuck in the stone ages!

Miserable, toxic workplace

Pros

Every fringe benefit under the sun, including free prescriptions Decent work-life balance (in my department, at least)

Cons

Sapience installed on every computer, or KPI tracking to make sure you're busy all day long Toxic atmosphere Awful coworkers - most who stay longer than a year or two are either broken or vindictive Awful management - they are trained through the company leadership program mostly on how to discipline employees, and they take every opportunity to do so Constant observation Continual and worsening outsourcing

Pros

There are some really good people at this company

Cons

This is the first place I experienced discrimination. This company brags about its DEI and valuing each individual, but it's all talk and in reality, if you don't fit in their little box, you will not be able to grow here. In the 5 years I've been here HR and IT have turned over their entire staff including senior leadership 3-4 times. Also, they are slowly but surely moving their entire operation to India.
