Pros

-They have been raising the minimum wage due to "until further notice" overtime -If you want extra hours, you can come in whenever you want as long as you work for at least 4 hours. -They have recently been promoting people who do not fit the requirements or their company values, so you may get a shot for a position you don't qualify for (as long as you don't question their "process" or lack of following their "process" -They have recently lost a handful of middle management employees and some more competent ones have replaced them -Headphones are allowed -Getting your daily steps in is easy -Employee discount is just OK -Profit-sharing checks for employees who have worked at least one year -They have a reward program for employees who are able to refer their friends/family/other to the company as long as they work 6 months (if you feel like subjecting your friends/family to non-stop overtime and physical labor) -You have a set schedule

Cons

-The meals catered during overtime are cheap and unsatisfying -They slap bandaid fixes on employee morale (pizza parties, bribe pay raises before they release information that is less than pleasant) -Supervisors and higher-level people will talk behind your back and employee drama and politics will prevent employees from ever getting promoted (don't grow a brain and talk back) -If you're a new employee and the company is busy, it will be very unlikely that you will be trained on new jobs (sometimes you spend weeks doing one tedious job) -The company claims that they will train you on the various amount of jobs, but sometimes when you get trained on the more preferred or "easy" jobs, it may take months.. or years -The lack of communication between supervisor and employee is just as typical and lacking as it would be working at a fast-food restaurant. -With the raises, they raised the health insurance cost for full-time employees -In the company motto, they clearly establish satisfying their employees is not their #1 priority because the customer comes first (it shows) -There is a point system, once you pass the allotted amount, they put you on tiers and once you get to the third or fourth tier, you're out. -They recently disabled the water fountains within the warehouse and now employees have to do physical labor for 2 or more hours straight or risk lowering their productivity. -If you don't hit the "standard" productivity level, they will not give you a decent raise, or they may fire you. -The work environment is mostly men and it's obvious who is taken seriously and who isn't. -Upper-level employees who do admin work can be found on their phones or engaging with other coworkers for long periods of time and are not held accountable. -The company claims that the warehouse is climate controlled, however, there is little sufficient airflow during the summer (Some employees have fainted while working) -They perform monthly random drug tests -If you're not into guns/hunting/fishing there is little to contribute to the company life -They charge $1 to enter the Christmas party which caters more subpar food, a cash bar, and a raffle for prizes that includes an envelope that gives information about that prize for taxes (gifts from a company do not need to be claimed on your taxes) -Hitting "standard" with your productivity cannot be met if the conveyer belt and whole warehouse isn't running smoothly, which is most of the time, and affects your raise. -It's easy to stop caring about the job when there's no end to the overtime -It's easier to stop caring about the job when lazier employees are being promoted before you despite having a higher productivity level than the promoted employee -An employee was recently fired for swapping shifts with another employee, having the shift swap approved, and then fired for not showing up to the shift when the employee who had been approved to cover the shift did not show. -If you don't kiss up to the supervisors, you probably won't get far in being promoted to a higher level or supervisor position -The company claims that any type of degree is absolutely necessary for a supervisor position, yet promotes employees to supervisor positions without a degree -All newly hired employees have to work a weekend shift, and it may take months or years to change that schedule to a Monday through Friday schedule
