Pros

- Interesting Projects - Understanding Management - Great oppurtunities for travel - Always changing workload I have had the chance to work in a wildly diverse set of projects, and now I've been given some longer-term and serious projects. Most managers really listen to your career development needs and wants, and try to make it happen.

Cons

- Working with lazy people - Having slow periods of work - Budget constraints mean no raises/pay increases Like any place, there are people that try to work as little as possible. Politics can always be tough in a government workplace.
