This place is toxic, really bad culture with managers and executives having little to no integrity. They do not place any value in their employees nor contribute to supporting or growing their employees Development. No raises in the past 5+ years, hence the reason for the good salary up front. The more you give, the more they take. Complete employee burnout, long hours, no merit increases and yearly bonuses are less than a full paycheck. CEO is more of a salesman than a scientist. High turn over rate, either they have lay offs or people are constantly leaving. Do yourself a favor and not accept a position at this company, there are way better companies to work for in San Diego that actually value their employees and their hard work.

Nepotism and incestual hierarchy for upper management. There are tons of unqualified people who work in upper management. There are a few individuals who have worked to the bone to earn their position, but most managers and directors at extremely immature and inadequate people who clearly do not have the skills to successfully manage a department.
