Pros

- Allowed for fully remote work in any location in the U.S. for my role and some others - Great Benefits (Health & Life Insurance, 401k, Company share discounts) - Friendly work environment

Cons

- Salary for my role was below average - Seems that there are a lot of layoffs in the last year or so (I was layed off)

Pros

Associates are very nice most of them, most people like working at Knoll. Benefits are your average benefit package. A lot of people stay at Knoll for many years, some are retiring after being there for 40 years+. Work is not difficult, management isn't pushy for operators. Goals are easily met. If you come in & just do your job & do not make waves you will be ok.

Cons

Upper management is terrible, no communication or so little you have no idea what is going on. No direction either, issue brought to their attention are not taken care or resolved. There is a no care attitude amongst upper management. Manages tend to make some mid level supervisors follow policy while others play favorites. You must be a favorite to get a head here even if you do not understand you job. Some supervisors know nothing about how the manufacturing area works but are promoted because they are liked. Some associates who have been there a long time have an entitlement attitude making it hard for new employees to fit in. A high school like mentality. Some supervisors do not promote a team attitude & are often absent for employee needs. A lot of OT, no work life balance. No accountability for some.

Pros

During my 8 year run with Herman Miller and my 4 year run with MillerKnoll I met some incredible people and was a part of some incredible projects. Depending on the department and your team, it really can be an incredible place to work, it certainly was for a long time for me.

Cons

Since the MillerKnoll merger, pay and benefits have flatlined unless you get promoted to a director-level role or higher. Benefits kept getting reduced and watered down. Bonuses went from frequent to near-nonexistent. I was promoted twice and promised a pay scale to match, only one of those promises was met. Workloads kept ballooning with no end in sight as the company keeps getting more and more top-heavy as they push for accomplishments they can claim.
