Pros

Good benefits. A lot of resources are provided, you just need to find the time to utilize them.

Cons

This company just went through a large aquisition, and it has been very poorly executed and it is negatively impacting everyone who works for and works with this company. Herman Miller acquired Knoll and is now “MillerKnoll” - the employees from both companies that are still employed are very unhappy. While MillerKnoll prides themselves on being human centric, they prove to be very different when you are on the inside, as many employees are suffering at the expense of MillerKnoll.

Pros

Benefits have gotten better. Local management is approachable but hands seem to have been tied since merger. Coworker are great!

Cons

CEO is out of touch and hasn't done much other than cut jobs and show disrespect. If you are not a sales rep at this company you are treated poorly. Sales reps get wined and dined while having very little product knowledge.

Management Gaslights and Gatekeeps—daily

Pros

My team was small but we cared deeply for the work we did everyday and how we interacted cross functionally with other departments. We were/are still not treated with the level of respect and the craft we do everyday.

Cons

Toxic management complains about not being involved but never shows up to meetings they’re invited too. Arbitrary timelines and roadmaps manifested from higher ups based on no real research or planning. Gaslights us on idiotic requests from other departments that they themselves don’t know how to solve them but still piles work on top of our already burnt out team—disappointed but not surprised; management understands nothing (including being a manager, that’s apparently our job too) and it’s just a circus. The company is also not sustainable and is running on bandage fixes for integrations, eliminating brands and downgrading benefits. On top of all that, they just love keeping us where we are at so we don’t grow and look for other prospects, we’re basically teaching ourselves at this point and there’s no leadership/mentors.
