      Pros

      EMD Millipore has great people and very good products. The company and its products are well respected by its customers. The life sciences field is a very good market to be in.

      Cons

      There have been way too many Sr. Management changes and reorganizations and realignments in the past 18 months. The new management appears focused on short term wins over long term prospects.

      Benefits are nice and management is okay with you taking time off

      Cons

      No transparency, management doesn't communicate well with each other. Company environment has gone downhill since Merck bought the company. Doesn't foster creativity--only stifles it.

      If you know the right people, you might just get what you want.

      Cons

      You are on your own when it comes to career development, salary increments and other opportunities. Middle management (Directors/VPs) are completely disconnected from realities and focus on strategy with no regard to tactics. The amount of money invested, compared to what was actually delivered by E-Business and Marketing, was laughable and in any other company, heads would have rolled.
